MyDFS Portal - It's Here!

We've launched MyDFS Portal!  A new and improved way to manage your accounts online.

  Please read the information below to know how and when to transition your user profile to MyDFS.

When will this change take place?
Our new online account management tool, MyDFS Portal, was launched in February, 2018.  Users are currently being transitioned to the new tool, and will continue to be transitioned over the course of the next few months. 
How will I know when I am supposed to use the new tool?
You will receive an email when it is time to switch.  This email will be sent from ‘MyDFS Portal’ containing the subject line ‘Welcome to MyDFS Portal’.  The contents of the email will include a unique link, designed only for you, to set up your new password and log in for the first time.
Why do I need a new password?
We are not just upgrading our website; we've rebuilt it from scratch.  We felt this was the best way to provide the significant improvements that you deserve.  Unfortunately, this means that we are not able to retain your current password, as our security requires that passwords remain encrypted.  This password change will only be required at the creation of your new user profile.
Will my User ID change?
Your current User ID may be changing as well.  In MyDFS Portal, we will require all users to login using a valid email address.  If you are currently using your email address to log in, you will not be affected.  However, you will be impacted if you are using a unique User ID or Nickname that is not a valid email address.  We recommend that you log in to our current online tool and verify or update your email address on the My Profile page.  
What will the password rules be in MyDFS Portal?
Our password rules will be very similar to the rules we have in place now.  A valid password will meet the following criteria:
ü  Must be at least 9 characters long
ü  Must contain at least one Capital Letter and one lower case letter
ü  Must contain at least one number
ü  May include special characters (e.g. #, $, %, etc.) but is not required
What if I don’t have the invitation email?
No problem.  After your user account has been migrated to MyDFS Portal, you will automatically be redirected to the new site the next time you log in.  Once on the Sign In page, just click on the 'Forgot Your Password' link and enter your email address.  We will send you a new email so you can get started.
Do I have to move to the new version?
All current users will be moved to the new MyDFS Portal, and the existing site will be deactivated.  We are confident you will find the new site to be more user friendly and much easier to navigate.
What enhancements have been made to the Online Account Management portal?
You will notice a number of enhancements in MyDFS Portal.  Amongst them, you’ll see:
ü  A completely new design with simpler navigation
ü  A redesigned account view that provides you the most important information in one location
ü  An improved payment experience
ü  Quicker access to your statements and transactions
How do I get to the new portal?
Your invitation email will include a link to the Login page for MyDFS Portal.  We recommend you bookmark it for future reference.
Will my account number(s) or contract number(s) automatically transfer?
Yes.  You will retain visibility to the same accounts and leases you have access to today.
Do I need setup my bank account and contact info again?
We will ask you during your first log in to provide additional information to be associated to your user profile. This includes your first and last name, as well as your contact phone number(s).  Any other information you have saved as part of your profile will be retained, including your bank account information.
